The cover you see is my easy-read adaptation, and the worksheets that go with this edition were written after talking to staff at SIDE – the School of Isolated and Distance Education, here in Western Australia. They were looking for self-paced materials that they could use with isolated Indigenous Australian learners (for some of whom, English is a second, third, or fourth language).
I hope that the worksheets will also suit adult learners! Wandering girl is a great book to stimulate debate, personal writing and critical thinking – and in this case, language skills.
