Practical issues with printable resources

A couple of weeks ago, I showed the new Tabletop English resources to a wonderfully enthusiastic librarian (who will also be storing the printed resources for teachers).  This experience reminded me that there is a LOT there.

Of course, there’s no need to print and laminate everything at once, or at all. (If you don’t have an A3 laminator, I found an excellent one for $32 with great reviews at a well-known discount department store.)

I haven’t personally printed out every activity, but I have created (just for myself) a black and white, A4 version of everything. These print-outs are currently residing in two lever arch files – and that’s also a LOT. I’ve put my printed and laminated exercises in A3 folders (very reasonable, from a well-known office supplier). I’d be interested to hear how other people manage storage?

Storage options and laminator for Tabletop English activities

It might be nice to be able to flick through the lever arch files and be reminded what’s available, as Payhip only shows samples. However, not everyone wants to go to these lengths…

A Tabletop YouTube video

I thought I’d make a short YouTube video look-inside, just to go through both the resources. I’d point out the difference between the two levels for each of the 12 activity types, then give you a quick look at what you get at each level.

It’s about 15 minutes long, but you could fast forward to the parts you want, or watch at double speed, as I suspect I’m using my ‘teacher voice’ here…

I hope it’ll be useful. I plan to make some videos about individual activity types later.

Let me know if there are things you’d like to see, or tips you have to share about using Tabletop English.

Thanks – and happy teaching!
