Talking to new students at work, I’m surprised at how many haven’t encountered the Living English online course, the simplest of the English programs on the old Australia Network. OK, it’s geared at visitors rather than new migrants, but it’s still simply and neatly set out, it’s Australian, and it’s free!
It does move along pretty rapidly – by Episode 10 we’re into present perfect – but it’s great opportunity for some not-too-complex input, complete with explanations.
